Agreement
These Terms are between you and Shunya LLC, the operator of Musube. Musube is a private family photo app operated under the Shunya LLC legal entity. By using Musube, you agree to these Terms.
Using Musube
Musube helps families privately share photos, videos, notes, reactions, invitations, and related family content. You are responsible for the information and content you choose to add, upload, send, or share through Musube.
Accounts and family spaces
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and use Musube only for lawful, respectful, private family sharing. Do not use Musube to:
- Harass, threaten, or harm other people.
- Send unwanted or unsolicited messages.
- Violate another person's privacy, including by sharing photos of children whose parent or guardian hasn't given you permission.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share.
- Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt Musube's services.
Invitations and SMS messages
Musube may let parents invite family members or close contacts by SMS. You may only send an invitation text to someone who has agreed to receive a Musube invitation from you. The consent checkbox for SMS invitations is unchecked by default and must be manually selected before sending.
Message frequency is limited to one invitation message per invite, plus account or service messages needed for the Musube experience. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, captions, comments, and other content you add to Musube. You give Shunya LLC permission to host, process, display, transmit, and store that content as needed to operate Musube and provide the features you choose to use.
You can export your content at any time and delete your account at any time. When you delete your account, your content is permanently removed from active systems within 30 days.
Subscriptions and payments
Musube has a Free tier that's free forever. Musube+ is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscription billing is handled through Apple's App Store. You can cancel at any time through the App Store; you keep the Free tier forever.
Pricing locks at sign-up — if you subscribe at a published rate, that rate stays your rate for the life of your active subscription. The lifetime tier is one payment for all Musube+ features, forever.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how Shunya LLC collects, uses, and protects information for Musube, including mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data. The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms.
Service changes
Musube is still evolving. We may add, change, pause, or remove features as we build and improve the service. We will try to provide reasonable notice for changes that materially affect users.
Termination
You can stop using Musube at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose risk to other users or the service. If we terminate your account for cause, we'll let you know unless doing so would be unlawful or unsafe.
Disclaimers
Musube is provided as-is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, Shunya LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Shunya LLC's total liability arising from or related to Musube is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Shunya LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law rules.
